Airservices has twice been named the world's best air traffic services provider by the International Air Transport Association, winning the association's Eagle Award in 1995 and 2005.

Our employees and projects have also been recognised within Australia and internationally for their contribution to the aviation industry.

Annual State and National Project Management Achievement Awards

Airservices Australia topped two states in the Defence/Aerospace category for the Australian Institute of Project Management Achievement Awards.

The Air Traffic Control Tower Simulator Project in Melbourne and the Brisbane Air Traffic Services Centre - Drainage Rectification Project went on to contest the national finals in Canberra. The simulator project won the national award in its category.

Aviation Technology Achievement Award

The US Air Transport World Magazine awarded Airservices the “Oscar of the Airline Industry” for achievement in Aviation Technology. Airservices was recognised for efforts in air traffic management, safety and environment.
